On June 10th, 2020 a meeting was held at the Eurasian Economic Commission, which discussed to postpone the enforcement date of the Technical Regulation “On requirements for energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices” (EAEU TR 048/2019) from September 1, 2021 to September 1, 2022. The COVID-19 virus creates many challenges and the authorities try to reduce the administrative burden of the companies. The likelihood of postponement is high as all the member states supported the proposal.
