Raimond Made participated in this EU Horizon 2020 project as the lead expert in the workstream “Financing and legislation”. EWIT aim was to create a Partnership across Africa and Europe focused on delivering advancements in recycling as a key component of metropolitan areas waste management strategy, using e-waste as a pilot to build up a modern and effective reference model.
The key activities of the project focused on the following areas: E-waste collection systems, processes, and technologies, closing the loop, financing and legislation, dissemination and information exchange.
