The restricted substances and concentration levels are the same as EU RoHS Directive, however, not all excemptions are in line with EU RoHS Directive.
Concentration of harmful substances in homogeneous materials of EEE is given in Annex 2 to the Technical Regulation and shall not exceed the established concentration:
• Lead (0,1 %)
• Mercury (0,1 %)
• Cadmium (0,01 %)
• Hexavalent chromium (0,1 %)
• Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) (0,1 %)
• Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (0,1 %)
• Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (0,1 %)
• Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) (0,1 %)
• Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (0,1 %)
• Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (0,1 %)
Uzbekistan RoHS scope is defined by the HS codes of EEE. It has 13 EEE categories:
1) Electric or other refrigerators, freezers, and other refrigeration or freezing equipment
2) Processing of linen, clothing, and footwear – washing, ironing, drying, cleaning
3) EEE intended for sanitary and hygienic purposes
4) Power supplies, chargers, voltage stabilizers
5) Electric toys
6) Personal electronic calculators – computers
7) Equipment connected to personal electronic computers:
8) Cables, wires, and cords (except fiber optic) for use in areas with direct and alternating voltage not exceeding 500 V.
9) Circuit breakers
10) Electrical devices for controlling electrical appliances
11) Electronic communication equipment (terminals and telecommunications equipment), including landline and mobile phones, pay phones, fax machines, and telex machines
12) Vending and gaming machines
13) Fire-fighting equipment
Declaration of Conformity is required, as well as Uzbekistan conformity mark.
Operational documentation for electrical products must include a product passport, instructions for montage, maintenance and repair, and an operating manual; all in Uzbek language.
Product and/or packaging must have a label with information defined in the TR.
